Williams began coaching with us in 2017. With his ability to work with all different skill levels and learning styles, he developed a group of 4th graders into a rising 6th grade team with a strong north shore presence.
He did his undergraduate work at Michigan State University and his graduate work at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and Harvard Divinity School. He has coached basketball on Boston’s North Shore since the year 2000. Most notably, coaching Noah Vonleh, the #9 NBA draft pick in 2014. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for MASCO Youth Basketball, overseeing 1st -8th Grade Girls IM. As a former school teacher and Life Coach, he has worked with thousands of students and hundreds of families. Beyond the basics, his focus is on positive reinforcement, strategic attention to detail and basketball as an analogy for life.
